STORYTELLING / UX / 3D / NFC

ÉireLore

Cultural heritage + NFC interaction. MSc with First Class Honours.

ÉireLore

Challenge

Protect Irish legends and stories that could be forgotten. Use technology and interaction design to spark younger audiences’ curiosity and connect them with cultural heritage.

My role

Concept, storytelling, UX, 3D modelling and integration of NFC collectibles with a digital portal.

Delivery

A working prototype: visitors tap the object’s NFC with a phone and access its digital story. Printed pieces conceived for scalable production; industrial scale has not yet been validated. Technology connects object, culture and discovery.

Recognition

Capstone project for the MSc Interactive Digital Media. Completed the degree with First Class Honours at Griffith College, Ireland, in 2026.

Tools and production

Hand drawing and original direction; research, planning and prompts with ChatGPT and Claude; Magnific images, Kling video, ElevenLabs/Lyria audio and DaVinci Resolve editing. I modelled in ZBrush, prepared prints in Chitubox and completed airbrush painting and finishing.

The luminous portal imagery and video are concept visualisations.
